Konnichi Wa!
I'm a Witch of word, here's a tiny post for you.
On the 7th, I had to send my PC for repair, the power component had to be replaced urgently, since it prevented me from doing anything I had previously scheduled on-line.
The funniest thing is, a few days before, I confessed to my friend Alex to have recollected vividly many other details from my first meeting with my Angel, as the departure's date was getting nearer. I still remember that he had told me he wanted to work into the electronical components business (you guessed it: the Akito Electronics Corporation, mentioned into my Saint Seiya fan-fics, sprung from it), and I'm hoping sincerely that he had succeeded in it. I told her too that I was a bit apprehensive at first, but that I knew now that everything will be all right.
Also on the 7th of July, despite the electronical problems, I received a mail from my friend Hiromi, right after I had asked to her if she could renew the wish I had made four years ago (it's private, sorry), during this year's Tanabata Matsuri.

She had proposed to me to assist at the Summer Matsuri held in her city, Funabashi. My heart just leapt with joy at the perspective , and I gleefully said YES. It'll be my first Matsuri!

Therein the title of this entry, Harry Potter And The Summer Matsuri!
The Order Of The Phoenix has a special meaning to me, for as a matter of fact, it's been the very first Harry Potter book in English in the text I found in my country. My copy is still wrapped to this day in its plastic sheet, but not for very long. Once I'll be through with Goblet of Fire, it'll be its turn. The meaning goes even deeper, for as you know, I'm a Witch who came back to the Light after years, not to say centuries, wandering into the Darkness, because she's taken the wrong path at a certain point.
As you know, I'll be packing and getting ready to travel to Japan on the release date of the last Harry Potter book. Yet, even though I hope to manage to get my copy of it at Shinjuku's Kinokuniya, I don't plan to read it at all during my trip, perfectly aware that I'll have better things to think of and to attend to, then. I'll read it, yes, but later. By later, I mean it'll certainly take me a long while to pick it up to do so, as it's taking me to do the same with my Half-Blood Prince copy. I still can't bring myself to read it, it's too fresh for me...I'm sorry. There is so much spiritual suffering breathing from it, that's why. And I think that Deathly Hallows will be very much the same, unfortunately. I can cope with various kinds of spiritual wounds, but I've my limits as well. I do know to what extend I can go and help. If it goes beyond, I prefer acknowledge I'm forfeit, and pass the task on to somebody else.
But, there's a but. What I didn't say until then is, when I'm not feeling well, being stressed, need a change of mind, to ressource myself, well, Jo's doing it rather nicely, very nicely. I pick up my current Harry Potter lecture where I left it off, and for a hour or so, I go back to Hogwarts. What I'm trying say is, despite the errors, the omissions and the inconsistencies, the pleasure remains, precisely because Jo's writing is reflecting her own humanity in the end, which is what I like best. For hasn't she done any of these, I probably wouldn't have found neither the strenght nor the energy, to follow my own inspiration to get started with my own stories, inside and outside of this web-site. And well, the good news are, I've been given clues that some things I've written according to my inspiration, set into this time and world, are gradually falling into place...
I won't say anything furthermore.
Excepted thank you, Jo, thank you for everything.
With Love,
Sam.
I've seen Life of Brian, have you seen Cuckoo's Nest?
I LOVE those anime pictures! Have a wonderful time in Japan. Hope you're able to take some pictures and post them.
